Life at Grape Solutions: an interview with our Senior developer, Ádám Stefanits

Ádám works as a mobile app developer on Grape's flagship e-mobility solutions, the Mobiliti and Montu apps. We asked him to tell us about his weekdays at Grape, what a day looks like for a senior software developer.

Why did you choose to work at Grape Solutions?
I joined the Grape team because when the HR team approached me, I immediately googled the company on social media and liked their colourful, active presence. Looking through them, I sensed a pleased and professional community. They made me feel positive, and I was looking forward to the interview. My hunch was confirmed during the recruitment rounds, and the project I was approached with was interesting to me.

How does your role look at Grape, and how would you describe it in one sentence?
I currently work as an Android mobile developer within Grape on the Mobiliti and Montu projects. I am developing and refining our market-leading electric car charging network and mobility support application daily to ensure customer convenience and safe charging.

What skills do you think are needed for your position?
Focus, systems thinking, fast and flexible problem-solving. It means, by extension, that I get up and go to bed by reacting flexibly to current situations without compromising professionalism.

How can you motivate and develop yourself at Grape?
It motivates me to work on an app that makes mobility easier for so many people in their everyday lives.

What are the three things that made you proud during your time at Grape?
I am very proud of the 4.5-star rating of the Mobiliti app, which we achieved together with a very professional team! The successful productization and subsequent successful marketing of Mobiliti. I am also proud to help the company improve its processes by sharing my experience gained over the years.
